This one is a papaya-toned stunner — a vintage Boujaad rug full of life and fire. Woven decades ago in the Middle Atlas, it brings a vibrant mix of papaya orange, berry purple, and burnt umber. The geometric lozenge motifs add movement, and the wide border work ties it all together with elegance.
🍊 A few irregularities in the weave —typical of authentic vintage handwoven rugs! but the rug is solid and will last for decades. The base has softened with time, and the wool texture is thick and plush underfoot.
This vintage Boujaad rug has the organic charm typical of handmade Moroccan pieces — the width varies slightly from 154 cm (5.05 ft) at one end to 143 cm (4.69 ft) at the other, with about 149 cm (4.89 ft) at the center. These subtle variations are part of its authenticity and character, not imperfections. Structurally strong and tightly woven, this rug is made to last for decades while carrying the warmth and artistry of its origins.
